Description
Our honorary shepherd Sherman is a strikingly handsome fellow with a fine disposition. He is a white boy with a dash of black on his side and neck, which give him a unique appearance. He has adorable freckles on his nose, black eyeliner and black lips. There may be a Dalmatian among his ancestors, we don't know for sure. He always has a smile on his face and as the photos show, he is a big kisser. Sherman gets along well with dogs even though he arrived into rescue with two nasty wounds that were from dog bites. Sherman, after a long wait, finally made it to a foster home. After living in a kennel for quite a while, he is happy to be in a home and doing very well. He does not have accidents in the foster home and he is being crated when unsupervised. Sherman enjoys running in his yard, sniffing tracks and chasing the ball (he has to learn to bring it back too). He is very smart and learned the 'sit' and 'come' commands in no time. We are working on the 'down' now. Sherman is quite energetic and enthusiastic and LOVES to be around his people. He is ready and eager to meet his forever-family. Sherman did well on his long trip and his tail has not stopped wagging since he arrived. He enjoyed the car ride home (was very well behaved and rode like a pro) and chose to share the back seat with his German Shepherd brother, rather than riding in the front seat. We were told that Sherman also did well with cats. He likes going for walks and sniffing everything for new scents. He is a curious, energetic boy. Sherman loves everybody, including kids. Sherman is being fostered in TN bacause of the lack of foster homes in Baltimore. He is looking forward to travel to her new forever home.
