Terrier - Medium - Baby - Female - Dog - IZZY
Description
At times, and for many reasons, our animals go into foster homes and get adopted out from there rather than the shelter. This animal is in foster care, not at the shelter. Please use the email contact information for the foster family to set up a meet & greet or to get more information.I am fostering a small, female Pit Bull puppy for the PSPCA. She is approx 6-12 mths of age. Her name is Izzy -- she is a sweet, goofy pup who needs a GREAT home to call all her own. She was found as a stray and nobody came to claim this poor girl. She is a gorgeous tan with light brindle & white markings. I am fostering her in my home and we are working on her puppy training (basic commands, housebreaking) and she is doing great! She does well with my other dogs. She adores hugs and kisses and her toys! If you are looking for a sweet, loyal, family dog and have a place in your heart to take in a new friend, please contact me at Amber_Bumbaugh@matria.com and you can come meet her! Adoption is through the PSPCA -- please see terms of adoption at http://www.pspca.org/faqs?faq_section_id=2. Izzy will be up to date on shots and spayed prior to going to her new home. , The PSPCA Adoption Center is located 350 E. Erie Avenue in Philadelphia. Our Philadelphia Adoption Hours are: Monday - Friday, 1 P.M. until 8 P.M. and Saturday - Sunday, 10 A.M. until 4 P.M. The adoption center is closed on all major holidays. To adopt from the PSPCA you will need one form of identification which includes your name and current address. And, if you rent, landlord approval is required. As an added benefit, PSPCA is giving new pet parents a ShelterCare Gift insurance policy. The ShelterCare Gift provides accident and illness protection for 30 days starting on the date of your adoption. The adoption fee is $75 for adult dogs, $125 for puppies under six months, $50 for cats over six months, and $75 for kittens. Please inquire at the Adoption Center for adoption fees on any other type of animal. We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and debit cards. (Checks are not accepted, sorry.) All adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, microchip, Keystone ID tag, collar, three weeks of free clinic care and this year's round of inoculations. If you'd like to find out more about a specific animal seen on Petfinder, please have the animal's tag# available when you visit the Adoption Center.
