Little Grayson is a 8 month old Pomeranian-Poodle mix who is the sweetest boy and has an explosive personality. He is very affectionate and will follow you wherever you go. He loves his toys especially raw hide chews and going to the park. He gets along well with everyone and everything. Unfortunately, Grayson was recently diagnosed with kidney dysplasia that causes him to urinate more frequently than normal. Kidney dysplasia means that when he grew his kidneys did not grow with him, meaning they are too small for his 7 lb. body. Most of the time he makes it to his wee wee pads and also is very good about going outside when it is available. Our vet told us that he can live a normal life as long as he is kept on prescription k/d food and his kidney enzyme levels are tested every 3 months. It is also important that he always has fresh water, as drinking water that is contaminated can cause urinary tract infections which could harm his kidneys further. He would love to find a family who could give him the extra special love and care he deserves. Res-Q-Pets requires a veterinary reference and a home visit before your application can be approved. Our adoption fee is $250.00 which is tax deductible. The fee on this prescious puppy will be waved due to the cost of the extra testing and special food he needs. Res-Q-Pets tries to place puppies in a home the best fits their needs as well as the needs of the family so we do accept multiple applications for the same dog. You are under no obligation to take the dog even if your application is approved. Res-Q-Pets shows small breed puppies and dogs at the Petsmart in Hamilton Market Place, Route 130 North, Hamilton, NJ on Sundays between 1 and 5 PM.
