Chow Chow - Medium - Young - Male - Dog - MoJo

MoJo is a chow mix. He is 2.5 yr old and had heartworm when we first acquired him, poor guy! He has been since treated for heartworm and has gotten a good report from the vet. He is a very friendly, social, lovable dog, who is always "smiling". He is good with other dogs and children, but he is bouncy and may not be good with really young children at this time as he may accidentally knock them over when outside. Indoors, Mojo is pretty laid-back and responsive. He does have a strong prey drive and will chase birds and squirrels and has the potential to go over shorter fences. He is house broken and crate trained. He will need to be somewhere that has a nice sturdy fence outdoors, preferably a privacy fence. Mojo is very affectionate, non-aggressive, and smart. He needs some work with leash training. He would make a fantastic companion for a family. Let us know if you need more information and we can get you in touch with Mojo's foster mom. This boy is extremely striking looking and his pictures do him NO justice. Please give this amazing dog a chance; he has been in foster care a long time and is just waiting for his perfect home. This guy is a rescue favorite!!
