Chow Chow - Medium - Senior - Female - Dog - Nala

Update 7/28: Nala has been in a foster home now since 7/19 and is fitting in well. She is currently living with 2 other chow mixes, one male and one female. She's a sweet, easy going girl that just wants to fit in. 7/28/08: XX - URGENT - Nala has until 6/30 to find a foster or adoptive home, or the family will take her to the shelter!!!!! Nala is a sweet chow girl that has found herself displaced due to divorce. Her owner is unable to keep her anymore, since he is not allowed to have pets where he now lives. She is about 8yrs old and she is in need of a foster or forever home. She is considered urgent. She has been split from the other dog she used to live with and is a little uneasy with all the changes that have happened in the last several months. She does have a prey drive, so she should not be placed in a home with cats or other small furry creatures. She's looking for someone that will love her and give her all the attention she deserves! These pictures are from a cell phone and we hope to get better ones shortly, as they do not do her justice. UPDATE: Nala is in a wonderful foster home with two chow siblings and a wonderful human family. She is doing extremely well and they have working on some of her anxiety. They say she is coming along great, and has responded very well to love, attention, and exercise. She is absolutely beautiful in person!
