Tortoiseshell - Medium - Young - Female - Cat - Ava
Description
At times, and for many reasons, our animals go into foster homes and get adopted out from there rather than the shelter. This animal is in foster care, not at the shelter. Please use the email contact information for the foster family to set up a meet & greet or to get more information.Daahhling, how ARE you? The elegant Miss Ava was named for a famous movie star, and what a suitable name it is: She greets her admirers by regally extending her paw to be kissed all thats missing is the 20-carat diamond bracelet! Ava is one of our Pirate Kitties (Aarrghh!) an untreated eye infection left her with only one eye but youd never know it, and she doesnt seem to know it. Our now big-and-healthy Miss Ava is affectionate but not needy; playful but not rambunctious; and, with her chocolate-and-caramel coloring, highly decorative! Ava arrived with a bit of gingivitis in her gums, which is being treated with antibiotic pulse therapy (5 days a month, she gets antibiotics sprinkled on her food very cheap and easy!); she will come with a six-month supply to continue her treatment. She lives with eight other cats, two big dogs, and kids, and gets along well with everyone. Ava is 2-3 years old, FeLV/FIV negative, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all appropriate vaccinations. Our Fabulous Foster Kitties are happy, healthy, and ready to be loved! Theyd love to be adopted with a friend, so if youre looking for a ready-made kitty family, look no further! NOTE: Preference will be given to adopters willing to adopt two cats.
