Cockatoo - Large - Young - Male - Bird - Icarus
Description
Icarus is a 6 year old male Moluccan Cockatoo. They are the largest of the Toos. His feathering is absolutely perfect. Icarus has been health checked and all is well. This bird is adoptable only by an experienced large bird person. We would prefer a person who knows about Cockatoos and there characteristics. Icarus is very typical Too he screams when he wishes to be heard. He also imitates a smoke alarm some times. If you expect a cockatoo to be a quiet bird you are mistaken. Some can be better than others but they all are louder than most parrots. Icarus would do well with someone who is a stay at home mom, or a work from home situation. He likes to be where the people are. He does not like fast movers, perches held in hands, or people who are tall. He seams to prefer woman even though he was handled by both of his previous owners. He does have three words he uses they are hello, good boy and pretty bird. Icarus is a pretty good eater but does not eat many fruits or vegetables. He will come with an older cage.
