We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analytics Analyst to join a newly created Business Analytics Group who will be responsible for maintaining the business analytics and reporting for the company and assisting in managing the data warehouse and historical statistical information.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for maintaining key performance indicators (daily, weekly, and monthly).
* Develop and maintain operational and performance metrics for each department.
* Validate business logic, establish and document accurate sources of data.
* Supply and interpret relevant and timely data to Management for decision making
* Assist in the development and maintenance of a centralized historical data warehouse and report writing tools.
* Assist IT with report modification requests.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of charts / dashboard analytics
* Assist in the management of business analytics and the distribution of such information.
* Prepare special reports and studies, as needed
* Identify / implement opportunities to improve and automate processes while ensuring information integrity
* Assist in training and providing a mentor role to new Business Analysts, as needed.
* Assist in the development of a comprehensive overview of existing reporting throughout the organization, examine all current reporting and analytics (used & unused), review for accuracy and consistency.
* Provide general assistance to Manager, Business Analytics and Sr. Manager Treasury & Financial Planning
* Lead / assist with special projects, as assigned
* Build and maintain working relationships with individuals throughout the organization.
* Development of new analytics and reporting as requested by the business units.
* Timely completion of daily, monthly and quarterly reporting/analytics.
* Successful completion of assigned special projects.
* Extraordinary customer service.
Qualifications:
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree or certification is a plus.
Experience Required: 5 - 7 years progressive experience, preferably in a high volume, fast paced environment. Business Objects and InfoLease experience a plus.
